It was windy in the morning.
In the afternoon in the air it was also windy and turbulent.
This is becoming the usual pattern...

Таск аж "вниз карты", туда мы еще не летали. Предупредили последние 8 км лететь ниже 1700 метров - воздушное пространство. Но проверять и штрафовать не будут.
Ветер западный, в районе родного хребта - довольно сильный.
Всего в соревнованиях участвуют 56 человек. Параллельно проходит аж три соревнования: официально British Nationals(только для британцев) и British Open(все вместе), неофициально разыгрывается Russian Cup(для русских), для выявления кандидатов в сборную на Чемпионат Европы на следующий год.
The task was new for us, we hadn't flown in that direction before. They warned us that over the last eight kilometers we should fly lower than 1700 meters because of airspace. But there will be no any penalties for flying higher O_o. So, it was up to pilots.
The wind was from the west, and it was quite strong near the home ridge.
There are 56 participants in this competitions and there are three competitions together: official British National (only for Brits) and British Open (for the all pilots), and unofficial Russian Cup (for russian pilots to choose the national team for Europe Championship in the next year).

Из 56 человек финишировало 38, 36 человек - с первым старт гейтом.
38 of 56 pilots made goal, 36 pilots took the first start gate.

А у меня не получилось. Я не сдавалась и ничего не боялась:) И даже идеально села. Но вот обрабатывать такие турбулентные потоки так и не получилось.
I bombed out. I didn't give up and wasn't afraid:) I had a perfect landing. But I couldn't thermal good enough in such rough conditions.
