У нас идет такой офигительный, такой обалденный снегопад. Валит крупными хлопьями целый день. И все такое белое белое белое, и нету границы между землей и небом. А вечером просто дыхание захватывает от того, как снег кружится под фонарями. И все такое сразу праздничное. И сразу жить хочется. И поделиться со всеми, как это круто, иметь вот такой вот снегопад:) Вот, делюсь.
We are having an absolutely stunning snowfall. Large fluffy snowflakes are falling out of the sky all day long. And the whole world all around is white white white, and there is no border between the earth and the sky. And at night the way the snow is swirling in the glow of the street lights looks absolutely breathtaking , and everything becomes so festive. And you feel this desire to live your life and to share how great it is to have such a snowfall with everyone around you:) So, here I am, just sharing.

Your ability to see the immense beauty in nearly everything around you is an inspiration, Zhenya. It could be raining, overcast, whatever, and I'm sure you would find the beauty. :) :)
ReplyDeleteWhere I live in Michigan, just a few miles from Lake Michigan, we get lake effect snow. Do you know lake effect snow? When it happens, we can get about 20 cm of snow a day for many days in a row. It's very lovely and sometimes we take our horses out in the deep forest to ride in it!!!! Snow touching the horses' bellies, it's so deep.
I'm so envious. I've inadvertently been chasing the summer around the world these last five years and, in the few glimpses I've had of a true winter in a northern (or deeply southern) country, it never seems to snow like what you're describing when I'm there.
