Вот, в общем, мы сейчас тут. Очень красивые места на самом юге Германии, практически на границе Германии с Австрией - маршруты в Иннсбрук можно летать. Романтические замки и удивительно сразу хорошие горы. Не предгорки тебе какие-нибудь, а сразу переход от озерной равнины в гранитные отвесы. Красотень:)
Старт на северную проекцию, что делает немного нетривиальным с непривычки полет. Нужно как-то разрываться с выбором с какой же стороны очередной горки будет поток.
Иногда (как сейчас) тут дует южный фен, что по идее не хорошо. Но днем северный баварский ветер (с равнины в горы) и термики передавливают на старте фоновый ветер, и можно летать.
По объяснениям я поняла, что самый тонкий момент - это как перескочить близлежащую долинку наиболее эффективно.

Romantic castles and surprisingly very good mountains: not just Alps foothills, but a quite impressive junction of the laky valley and mountains with sheer cliff . Beautful:)

The launch is on the north side, which makes the flight a bit unusual for me. You always have to decide where you're gonna go: on the upwind north side or on the downwind south side. Sometimes (like now) there is the föhn, quite strong south winds here. But during the day the north Bavarian winds and the thermals give you a chance to launch. Usually.

Что ж, будем надеятся, данная проблема выбора встанет перед нами неоднократно в течении этих соревнований:)
