Another Day In Austrain Paradise

We made it:) Literally we caught the tail of some very nice flyable weather conditions:) In the evening one could see the next front coming, but we were in time and had a nice flight during the day:)
Greifenburg in April is something else. Even unrecognizable in some degree, because all the summits around are under the snow cover. Beautiful!
I've never flown cross-country tasks in Greifenburg before (I just had short and very local flights), and now I got to see it all... And in such beautiful time of year. WOW. Snowy mountains... And lake! The lake is so long and azure! Pity, I didn't have any camera with me, I would so like to share those spectacular views:)
And now I can understand from where all those Heinrichses, Ruhmers, Weissenbergeres, Reisingers and Friesenbichlers came from. Try to fly here in the spring! And that was quite smooth day:)! *Hold on basebar, hold on basebar* :)
There were paraglider competitions of the Austrian and German leagues there. Hangglider pilots joined this flying party for stretching their wings as well:)

All the pilots flew differents tasks. Paraglider pilots flew one hundred kilometrs out and return task in the west direction. Corinna Schwiegershausen flew somewhere to the North-West in a higher mountains and we didn't see her after that. Many pilots just flew around, because the front was coming and the sky was slowly getting overcast.
At first the plan was that I fly a 108 km task you can see in the picture below together with Gerolf. But after the first ten kilometers Gerolf lost me and probably got a bit bored with my slowness, and he left to fly paraglider task:) And I was flying my task, being sure, that he is far ahead of me or maybe even completed the task already:)
So, slowly, with detours and deviations from a route, looking for sunny spots on the terrain, guessing, where exactly is this further turnpoint, after which ridge exactly, feeling disappointed that I fly so slow, feeling happy that it is so spectacular around and I am in the air still. I completed the task tired but happy.

I want to fly again, oh, how strong I want to fly more!
