Уже неделю нахожусь в Челябинске. Выложу немного фоток, а то мало кто знает об этом городе вне России.
Челябинск находится немного восточнее Уральских гор, разделяющих Европу и Азию. Это город с населением немного большим, чем миллион человек, и площадью 486 квадратных километров. В России этот город известен, как огромный промышленный центр. Так же он славится суровостью челябинских парней с подачи Нашей Раши и успешной хоккейной командной Трактор. В летающих кругах город известен дельтапланерным клубом ПараДельта:)
Вокруг Челябинска много живописных озер и лесов, на западе - Уральские горы. Здесь не холодно:) Летом в среднем +25 градусов тепла, зимой -10.

I've been back in Chelyabinsk for one week already. I want to write a bit about this city because so many people out of Russia don't even know about Chelyabinsk:)
Chelyabinsk is located just east of the Ural mountains which separates Europe and Asia. This is a city with a population of a little more than a million people and an area of 486 square kilometers. This city is known in Russia as a great industrial center. Also it is known for the severity of Chelyabinsk guys (because of the jokes of the popular comedy telecast) and a quite successful ice hockey team called Tractor. The flying community knows this city because of the hanggliding club ParaDelta:)
There are many scenic lakes and forests around Chelyabinsk. The Ural mountains are located to the West of the city. It is not that cold here:) The summer average temperature is +20 to 25 degrees, the winter average temperature is -10.
