Меня восхищает, как здесь все работает.

Как почти из ничего, прямо на глазах, рождается настоящий живой дельтаплан!

Никакой суеты, все заняты "любимым хобби", все так слаженно, никто ни о чем не договаривается, все на своем месте, ничего лишнего.

Прямо волшебство какое-то.

I admire how this all works.

How almost from nothing, right before our eyes, a real live glider is born!

No fuss, everyone is doing his "favorite hobby", all work is so well coordinated, everything is in its place.

Feels like real magic.

1. Какаду:)

Их тут много. Они огромные, говорливые, шумные, забавные:) Говорят, в Америке они стоят тысячи долларов:) А тут просто не знают куда от них деться:)

1. Сockatoos:)

There are a lot of cockatoos here. They are large, talkative, noisy, funny:) They say in America these birtds cost thousands of dollars:) And here they just don't know where to get away from them:)

2. Деньги
Австралийские доллары и правда пластиковые:) С ними можно купаться в океане! И да, Женька, из них можно было бы сделать санки и кататься с горки:) Дорогие только санки были бы:)
2. Money
Australian dollars are really plastic:) You can swim in the ocean with them! And yes, one could make a sled and ride it down the snow-hills:) It's just that the sled would be very expensive:)

Pacific Ocean

...Я люблю Тихий океан...прямо-таки всей душой...

Первый раз встретилась с ним на другой стороне Земли, на западном побережье Америки, в Сан-Диего. Всего полгода назад, а кажется - целую вечность. Я тогда летала на Комбате и почти не говорила на английском:) Тут немного фоток той встречи.

А щас я живу на берегу Тихого океана, в доме Билла Мойеса, летаю на Лайтспиде и говорю только на английском:)

И каждый вечер провожу под шум прибоя.

The first time I met him was on the other side of the Earth, on the west coast of America, in San Diego. It was only half a year ago, but it feels like ages ago. I flew a Combat then and barely spoke English:) Here are some pics of that time.

Now I live on the Pacific coast, in Bill Moyes' house, fly a Litespeed and speak only English lately:)

And every night I spend hours with the sound of the surf.

Registrations for the next summer

Уже месяц как открыта регистрация на Пред-Чемпионат Мира в МонтеКукко, и уже порядка 200 пилотов зарегистрировались:D!

The registration for the 2010 PreWorld HG Competition in MonteCucco has been open since the 2nd of November, and there are about 200 registered pilots already:D!

Также открылась регистрация на Чемпионаты Мира среди женщин, жесткокрылов и свифтов.

Online registrations for the Women, Rigid and Swift Worlds are opened as well.

Не знаю, сколько пилотов из зарегистрировавшихся реально собираются приехать, но должно быть весело, это точно:)

I don't know how many pilots are really going to come, but it's gonna be fun, that's for sure:)!

Hello, Australia!

Итак, сбылась мечта идиота!
Я в Австралии!
*** На данный момент я просто переполнена впечатлениями и абсолютно счастлива:) ***
So, my biggest dream came true!
I am in Australia!

В южном полушарии я впервые в жизни:) Говорят, воздух северного и южного полушарий не смешиваются. Не знаю, правда или нет, но воздух здесь действительно другой:) А еще тут ЛЕТО:)
Я планирую здесь некоторое время пожить-поработать-полетать:)
I'm in the southern hemisphere for the first time in my life:) They say the air of the northern and southern hemispheres do not mix. Whether or not it's true, the air here is really different:) And it is SUMMER here:)
I'm going to live here for some time, to work, to fly:)

В Челябинске - снег уже лежит на машинках и дорогах.
Chelyabinsk: snow already covers cars and roads.

В Москве снег идет, крупный, красивый, но тает.
Moscow: it is snowing (strong and beautiful), but melting.

В Пекине произошла перепродажа на рейсе, и меня посадили в бизнес-класс:)) 12 часовой перелет через экватор бизнес-классом:) мммммммм....Могла еще сутки спокойно лететь:)

И до последнего не верилось. Что вот сейчас вылезу из самолета на другой стороне Земли. Что буду ходить вверх тормашками. Что не будет снега, а будет лето и Австралия. И еще мой любимый Лайтспид.

А еще тут...океан! теплый-теплый:) И какаду:) Настоящие какаду. Огромные и шумные. И друзья, тут оказывается столько друзей:) Пофоткаю еще все и выложу попозже.

In Beijing, my intinerary had been modified, so it turns out I ended up seated in business class:)) 12 hour flight across the equator in the business class:) mmmmmmmm .... I could easily fly another day:)

And whole the flight I couldn't believe that I'll get out of the plane on the other side of the Earth. And I will walk upside down. And there will be no snow but it will be summer. And I'll get to see my lovely Litespeed.

And here ... the ocean! really warm:) And the cockatoos:) Real cockatoos. Huge and noisy. And friends, there are so many friends here:) I will take pictures and upload them later.

Hen party

В Челябинске второй день подряд идет снег. Красиво:) Не сильно холодно(-5 вечером), и снежинки красиво кружат под фонарями. И очень-очень приятно встретиться с любимыми подружками за кружкой горячего глинтвейна:) Так мы провели ночь, шесть девушек, все пилоты, в мечтах, смехе, воспоминаниях. Это так круто, так вас всех люблю:)

It's been snowing in Chelyabinsk one day after another. Very beautiful:) It is not too cold (just about minus five degrees C in the evening). Snowflakes are dancing under the streetlights. And it was so nice to meet with my lovely girls over a glass of hot mulled wine:) So, six girl-pilots spent the night in dreams, laughter and memories together. It was amazing. I love you all so much:)

Summer is coming:) ... somewhere

А судя по календарю соревнований куда-то приходит Лето.
If the calendar of competitions is any evidence, the summer is coming somewhere.

Два соревнования идут параллельно - в Бразилии и где-то в далеком Эквадоре. А скоро и австралийский сезон начнется.
